I just snapped this photo from my front door just minutes ago. It is already gone, but stunning while it lasted!

I wanted to play with my new slideshow feature and realized I’m a bit behind in posting some of my photos. These span back since January and looking at them, I think they will count as today’s acknowledged blessings.

My friend, the fabulous Eric Scot, shot this for me today. It’s my new publicity shot for The Baub Show. It’s rare that I would be so smitten with a photo of myself and I don’t dare have a bit of regret for saying that. We should all love photos of ourselves because they are snapshots of our lives and we should all be living lives we are proud of. Today I am celebrating mine, with this photo and on this day because now that it is midnight, I am officially one year older.

As a gift to me, go out and do something nice for you and include someone else and make the world a better place! xoxo

Here are a few of the photos I took last night. We walked the Blvd and watched families speak as well as Georga Takei, Mayor Villaraigosa, Drew Barrymore and Kathy Griffin. There was no violence or tension in the air, just passion and a sense of community. How would you feel and react if you were told you don’t have equal rights because of who you choose to love?
